The Story

The 100 Moms Project was born from a heartfelt conversation between Jill, a Boudoir Photographer and Relationship Coach and Courtney, an Esthetician at Natura Skin Boutique. As they caught up over coffee, they reflected on a shared truth—too many moms pour endlessly into others while neglecting themselves.

As mothers who work in the self love space, Jill and Courtney, know firsthand that self-care isn’t a luxury—it’s a necessity. So many moms put themselves last, whether by default or circumstance, without understanding the compounded weight of responsibility, the power of self-investment and the belonging and community it can bring as a byproduct . A mom who feels supported, cared for, and empowered shows up differently in her life. She cultivates a growth mindset, radiates confidence, and elevates those around her. That realization sparked a bigger vision—to create something tangible for the women of Western New York.

The 100 Moms Project is the first step toward that mission. This initiative will help fund To the Roots, a nonprofit dedicated to providing self-care services and luxury experiences to moms who need them most. Because when moms thrive, families and communities do too. Join us in making self-love accessible to every mom.

Why This Project Matters

When we support the mother's in our community, we aren't just supporting her, but every person that woman touches. Her children, her partner, her friends, and coworkers.

When she is supported everyone in her life feels the impact.

Photography in itself is a time stamp. It gives us the ability to mark a moment that you may look back upon with wonder, excitement, and transformation.

This project to photograph 100 women is to give them that experience of being seen for who they are right now- not who they used to be or who they will become but for all that they are right now!

The mission of this project is twofold, give moms a change to give back to themselves with self care and connection while also support future moms do the same for themselves.

And the bonus we also are support our own woman owned business here in Western New York.

When mothers are supported, they are
more likely to be engaged in their communities, volunteer, and contribute to local economies

Moms who prioritize self-care
experience 40% lower rates of anxiety and depression, leading to better overall health (National Institute of Mental Health)

Kids with moms who practice self-care are

Cozy Cabin Retreat in New York: A Transformational Women’s Retreat for Self-Love, Connection & Boudoir Empowerment

It was a weekend we didn’t expect… in the best way.

What unfolded at the Cozy Cabin Retreat in New York was more than a getaway—it was a deeply transformational women’s retreat focused on self-love, connection, sensuality, and coming home to your body.

A space where strangers became soul-connected.

Where desires were rekindled.

Where your body could finally exhale.

The kind of exhale that softens everything.

A Women’s Retreat Designed for Expansion & First-Time Experiences

For many of the women, this was their first women’s retreat.

And for most, their first boudoir photography experience.

This retreat was built for exactly that—for the woman who is ready to try something new, step outside her comfort zone, and explore her confidence, sensuality, and self-expression in a safe, supportive space.

And they did just that.

What Happens at a Cozy Cabin Retreat?

This wasn’t about packing a schedule.

It was about creating a luxury, intimate retreat experience that balances:

  • Guided meditations for self-connection

  • Gentle movement and embodiment practices

  • Boudoir photography sessions for confidence and empowerment

  • Creative expression (like art nights)

  • Nourishing, high-quality meals and snacks

  • Rest, free time, and space to simply be

  • Deep connection with like-minded women

  • Nature immersion for grounding and healing

Held in a peaceful cabin setting, surrounded by nature, every detail was designed to help women slow down, reconnect, and feel safe in their bodies again.

The Power of Boudoir Photography for Confidence & Self-Love

One of the most transformational parts of the retreat was the boudoir experience.

Not as a photoshoot—but as a self-love practice.

A moment to be seen.

To take up space.

To embody confidence.

Maggie shared:

“The photo session was such a big leap for me. I felt so empowered… I carried myself differently afterward.”

This is why boudoir photography is so powerful—it shifts not just how you look at yourself, but how you feel in your body.

Real Transformations from a Self-Love Retreat

The shifts that happened over the weekend were quiet… but profound.

Christine shared:

“I haven’t felt at peace in a long time… this retreat gave me that. I’ve given myself permission to feel good in my skin. I don’t remember the last time I felt sexy.”

Women left with more than memories. They left with a new relationship to themselves.

Feeling:

  • More confident

  • More connected

  • More relaxed and grounded

  • More open to pleasure and joy

  • More at home in their bodies

And anchored in truths like:

I am enough. I am beautiful. I am allowed to feel good in my skin.

Why This Women’s Retreat Experience Is Different

There are a lot of retreats out there these days- if you have an interest in something you can probably find a retreat for that. But this one was intentionally planned differently.

This is where intimacy coaching, boudoir photography, somatic practices, and real connection come together.

Where you’re not just doing activities—you’re experiencing transformation in real time and getting that photo proof of your changes. That's POWERFUL!

Where there’s no pressure to perform.

Only space to exhale and expand into

As Maggie said:

“She sets the vibe for every part of it and holds space in a way that made us feel so at ease.”

The next Cozy Cabin Retreat is already calling in the next group of women who are ready for this level of expansion.
