Spooky Season has me saying BEETLEJUICE

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice... Beetle Juicy

Enjoy a look through our creative vision of the 1988 classic film Beetlejuice blended with the genera of boudoir photography.

At Bare By Barrile, we love spooky season. It is a time for our creativity to run wild, create hypnotic imagery, and play with our imaginations.

This years shoot was inspired by the Red Robe worn by our model, Kaylynn. This was a iconic as a piece worn by Lydia, played by actress Winona Ryder during the wedding scene of the Beetlejuice movie.

Through this shoot, we wanted to dive deeper into the chemistry between Beetlejuice and Lydia, crafting a story that plays with the tension of love and fear, seduction and innocence. It’s a romance that never was, but through our lens, it becomes something more—something evocative, mysterious, and undeniably captivating. Kaylynn's performance in the red robe brought Lydia’s character into a realm of sensuality that had yet to be explored. The juxtaposition of Lydia’s gothic innocence with the seduction of boudoir gave us an opportunity to explore a new kind of love story—a frightening yet curious connection between two characters from different worlds.

For us, boudoir photography is not just about capturing the beauty of the human form but also about telling stories that resonate deeply with our imaginations. By combining the eerie charm of Beetlejuice with the art of boudoir, we’ve created something that is both seductive and hauntingly beautiful—a tribute to those who love to blend spooky season with the sultry magic of self-expression.

We invite you to explore this bewitching session with us, where classic film meets sensual art. Who knew that beneath the surface of this ghostly tale lay a love story waiting to be told?
